Since 2017 Pekata Mundi has been dedicated to creating "Pekatas".
A Pekata is the result of mixing extraordinary music with the creative curiosity of Fumie Ono and Xavi Gonzalvo.
The unusual but brilliant timbre of the piano-mandolin duo is amazing, which awakened the adventurous spirit of Ono and Gonzalvo.
Pekata Mundi's work is inspired by classical music, folk, contemporary music with some approach to jazz.
In this soup of styles, the first pulse was won by the extraordinary power of seduction of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.

The second pole is won by folk and old music, and in 2023 they record "Terram Nexum", an album inspired by the roots music of Japan, Aragon and Catalonia, where the transcendence of popular and old music converges with sentiment rooting of its components.
The result has been described as contemporary folk-inspired music.

He was keyboardist and percussionist of Kamjin (rediscovery group of eastern base) Keyboardist on the Japanese musician's world toursGuitar( USA, Europe and Asia).
Xavi Gonzalvo

He studies musical language, harmony, bass, singing and piano in Zaragoza and Sant Cugat del Vallès, is a performer specialized in stringed instruments, singer, arranger and composer of formations like now Cornamusa (music group traditional of Aragon), Malas Yerbas (Animal Tour productions), Las Mil y una Cuerdas (for Expo 92 Seville). Participate in con ara trainings Xavier Val and the Carboneros, Pantycruell, Xavier Val & Dalton Trio.
He is a collaborating composer of the entity Caparrots de Sant Cugat .
